Crochet Butterfly

Crochet Butterfly Pattern and Tutorial I use these crochet butterflies frequently and are my favorite little applique to add some whimsy and fun to just about anything.  Whether a baby blanket, hat, headband, bunting or wall art, you can alter the size and texture with various yarns and colors to match your decor.   For this tutorial, I use Stitch Nation Peruvian Wool in the Ivory Color and a size J crochet hook.  The only other tools you will need are a tapestry needle and scissors.  This makes a chunky textural butterfly, and after I crocheted her (I dub this one a girl)...

Stitches...

UPCYCLED CROCHET RUG You can now take my online class; Crochet Rug Making: Beginner's Circle on Skillshare! Let's go make some rugs!! WRITTEN HOW-TO WITH PATTERN Of all the upcycling I do, this is by far my favorite, a circular crochet rug.  There is something so satisfying when the rug is finished.  Practical, functional, easy, and green, crocheting rugs from repurposed fabric allows you to decorate a space in infinite styles.  You can make the rug as big as the amount of fabric you have on hand.  The greatest part about that?  The more fabric you use, the more upcycling you are doing, and what...
